GENERAL ASSEMBLY
THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY
The General Assembly of the Coalition of Sudanese Victim Communities in the USA is the supreme decision-making body of the Coalition. It serves as the democratic platform where all member organizations and representatives come together to deliberate, decide, and guide the overall direction of the Coalition’s mission, policies, leadership, and governance.
Composed of delegates from all registered member organizations, elected regional representatives, and ex officio members from committees and leadership. Convenes in a Regular Annual Session, and may hold extraordinary sessions as needed. All decisions are made by majority vote, with provisions for two-thirds majority for constitutional amendments and leadership removals.
The General Assembly reflects a democratic, representative, and functional model designed to ensure effective governance, advocacy, healing, and community coordination across regional chapters and national leadership bodies.
