The promulgation of Coalition Charter aims to declare the foundation, principles, and commitments of CSVC-USA:

Preamble

We, the Sudanese victim communities in the United States, survivors of genocide, war, state oppression, and human rights abuses, come together in common cause to affirm our dignity, seek justice, and restore hope for all victims and their descendants.

We declare this Charter as the foundational document...

Article I: Name and Identity

The name of this organization shall be the Coalition of Sudanese Victim Communities in the USA (CSVC-USA). It shall serve as a national, survivor-led, non-profit coalition.

A united Sudanese diaspora empowered to pursue justice...

Sudanese Victim Communities in the U.S. Launch National Coalition to Demand Justice and Healing

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma & Other Locations within the US Nationwide — The survivors and advocates from Sudanese communities across the United States have launched the Coalition of Sudanese Victim Communities in the USA (CSVC-USA) to advocate for justice, healing, and accountability for victims of decades of war, genocide, and state-sponsored violence in Sudan.

  • Demand accountability from perpetrators at national and international levels
  • Support community healing, truth-telling, and trauma recovery.
  • Mobilize the Sudanese diaspora for civic engagement and policy change.
