MEASURE OF SUCCESS

MEASURE OF SUCCESS

As a justice-driven and survivor-led movement, the Coalition of Sudanese Victim Communities in the USA (CSVC-USA) recognizes that measuring success is essential to advancing our mission, building credibility, and ensuring lasting impact. We do not simply seek to raise awareness — we seek to transform lives, communities, and systems. Our metrics are a mirror of our integrity — and a roadmap to justice.

How the Coalition Measure Progress

Legal Accountability Benchmarks

ICC indictments & arrests (RSF, Janjaweed, Bashir-era). Domestic trials / transitional justice bodies in Sudan. U.S. & international sanctions on violators and financiers.

Survivor Participation & Empowerment

Survivors testifying / evidence submissions. Growth of trauma-healing & empowerment programs (women, youth, displaced). Survivor-led task forces, truth commissions, advocacy groups.

Public Awareness & Advocacy Research

Media coverage: interviews, op-eds, reporting on atrocities. U.S. Congressional Hearings / UN briefings with coalition. Campaign engagement: petition signatories, events & webinars.

Policy Influence

U.S. actions (e.g., genocide designation in Jan 2025, aid/refugee policy). International actions: UN resolutions, AU initiatives backed by evidence.

Rebuilding & Long-Term Recovery

Safe repatriation/resettlement support. Trauma-informed education & leadership for displaced youth. Progress toward inclusive, civilian-led governance in Sudan.
