Position Overview

The Coalition of Sudanese Victim Communities in the USA seeks a mission-focused, experienced, strategic, and process-minded individual to join the Grant-Writers or Grantmaker team to serve in targeting and connecting with donors by means of finding funding opportunities for an organization and writing polished proposals to earn grant money. Their duties include researching deadlines, drafting grant requests, and submitting reports for approval. This person must be both a leader and a collaborator, creative and a solution and detail-focused implementor.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an effective Grant Writers that have excellent research and communication skills. They should be able to clearly communicate in both written and verbal communication, especially in grant proposals, as this is their primary duty. Their duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Study and understand the history, structure, objectives, programs, and financial needs of the organization.
  • Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies.
  • Draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of the organization.
  • Submit proposals to grant coordinators for approval.
  • Respond to internal and external queries on drafted and submitted proposals.
  • Maintain positive relationships with fund providers and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain records and submit reports related to grant opportunities.

Educational Development Coordinator

Position Overview

The Coalition of Sudanese Victim Communities in the USA seeks a strong communication, organizational, interpersonal skilled person as well as project management experienced candidates to join the Educational Development Coordination team to serve in designing, implementing, and evaluating programs to improve educational by means of finding doors of educational opportunities academically or vocationally for young generations who are eager to improve their educational careers with a focus on vulnerable and underserved populations. Their duties include researching deadlines, contacting educational institutions, and creating long lasting relationships with such institutions, and submitting reports for approval. This person must be both a leader and a collaborator, creative and a solution and detail-focused implementor.

We are seeking an effective educator that have excellent research and communication skills. They should be able to clearly communicate in both written and verbal communication, especially in grant proposals, as this is their primary duty. Their duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Approach educational institutions to search educational opportunities for underserved populations.
  • Assure that the development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of all of available educational programs are aligned with requirements that meets the young generations journey of their ambitions.
  • Coordinate with community relations officer to develop and distribute surveys and evaluations for review of program.
  • Provide recommendations for and follow program budget.
