Sudanese Victim Communities in the U.S. Launch National Coalition to Demand Justice and Healing
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma & Other Locations within the US Nationwide — The survivors and advocates from Sudanese communities across the United States have launched the Coalition of Sudanese Victim Communities in the USA (CSVC-USA) to advocate for justice, healing, and accountability for victims of decades of war, genocide, and state-sponsored violence in Sudan.
Formed by survivors of atrocities in Darfur, Nuba Mountains, Blue Nile, Abyei and other regions, CSVC-USA aims to:
- Demand accountability from perpetrators at national and international levels
- Support community healing, truth-telling, and trauma recovery
- Mobilize the Sudanese diaspora for civic engagement and policy change
